Jerk Spice Mix
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp crimson pepper flakes
1/four tsp salt
1/four tsp pepper

Mix spices in a jar and blend effectively earlier than utilizing.

In a medium pot at in onion and sauté till softened. Add in ginger, garlic and bell pepper and sauté till aromatic. Add in lentils, tomatoes, jerk seasoning, mustard and maple syrup. Stir to mix after which add broth. Deliver combination to a boil and scale back to a simmer. Cowl lentils and permit to cook dinner for 25 minutes or till most of liquid is absorbed by lentils. Add in lime zest and lime juice, stir and take away from warmth to serve. ✨
