Festive Brussel Sprouts

Components:
Brussel sprouts: 13-14 giant minimize in half
Onion: 1
Cumin seeds: ½ T
Xylitol or sugar: ½ T
Balsamic vinegar: ½ T
Cumin powder: 2 t
Cayenne powder: 2 t
Smoked paprika: 2 t
Toasted pine nuts: 2 T
Toasted pistachio: 2 T
Dried currants/dates/cranberry: 1
Olive oil
Salt to style

Methodology:
-Combine brussel sprouts with 1 t of smoked paprika, cumin and cayenne. Drizzle with olive oil. Place on a baking tray minimize aspect down and roast in a preheated oven at 180C for 20 minutes
-Flip brussel sprouts round after 20 minutes and place below the grill fir 5-7 minutes until the tops are charred
-Warmth olive oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, onions, sugar and balsamic vinegar. Cook dinner ceaselessly stirring until onions are caramelised.
-Add roasted brussel sprouts and add 1 t of smoked paprika, cumin and cayenne.
– Combine to mix then add toasted nuts and currants
