Crispy BBQ Chickpea “Croutons” 🧡💚

Recipe:

What you want: 1 can of chickpeas rinsed, drained & towel dried, 1/Four tsp salt, 1/eight tsp pepper, Three tbl tapioca flour, half cup bbq sauce (low sugar) 2 cups seasoned bread crumbs( I used Italian seasoned)

Directions:
1️⃣Season chickpeas with salt/pepper
2️⃣ To bread chickpeas: arrange Three stations, one bowl with tapioca flour, second bowl with bbq sauce, & a plate with bread crumbs.Line massive baking sheet with parchment paper misted with oil
3️⃣Add chickpeas to tapioca flour, combine with spoon until all coated, subsequent coat in bbq sauce, then place in bread crumbs ensuring chickpeas are breaded all through, use a big dry spoon to put chickpeas on baking sheet. Separate croutons which might be caught collectively, giving sufficient room between every in order that they crisp up
4️⃣Bake at 400 F til coating is golden and crisp, shaking pan half method via cook dinner time about 15-20 min or Air fry 7-10 min at 400 F cooking in 2 batches.
